For me, the two most underrated, never-talked-about horror movies of all time are the original Witchboard and Burnt Offerings. Both were more of the atmospheric or psychological type than the blood-and-gore type, and that’s the definitely the way I prefer my horror movies. But as always, YMMV.

Speaking of Lugosi, one horror film I considered underrated and needs to be seen more is Return of the Vampire. His performance, the creepy atmosphere, and the final scene I thought really makes this movie great.
