The Jedi Knight series of games is a great example of great old expanded universe story.(before disney threw it all away) Do you guys think that there should only be the Episodes of Star Wars? Maybe Disney should just create video games for the side stores?

I do too, but I really really love this movie.

Star Wars came initially.

A New Hope is for suckers.

I will say that it needs to be seen multiple times until you catch all the dialogue and nuance.
I saw it three times in one day just so I can streamline the film and see how everything connects.
It might be my favorite Star Wars film of them all.

I can bore you all with an analysis, but I’m guessing no one cares.

The fan service stuff was my least favorite things about the film, though I did enjoy them.

I was very surprised by the film because I’m usually not into loving war films and I really connected with and appreciated every character in this.

It’s extremely character driven and introspective.
Most people have no empathy, so its likely this film will not be liked very much.

Is that some cartoon they made, or something? I thought Rogue One was supposed to happen right before Star Wars. Haven’t seen it yet, so I could be wrong.

But I refuse to watch, just on principle! 🙂

It’s not even named Star Wars. They said multiple times that they wanted to do something different for Rogue One and I commend that.
