Also, that marker on your copy of Milon’s Secret Castle is really bothering me.
You can wipe the marker off with a paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol. (I use a dollar-store “75% alcohol” spray-bottle.)
For the marker on the textured plastic, repeat with new paper towels until they come away clean. You may not get it all off, but it’ll at least be very faint.
]]>You don’t want a SCART-to-HDMI box. Doing the analog-to-digital conversion quickly is one of your Framemeister’s jobs.
All you need is a cheap “Euro SCART to XRGB Mini 8-pin” cable to hook the RGB lines from the SCART cable up to the RGB port on the front of your Framemeister.
Also, Japan has their own version of SCART called JP-21. Apparently they look the same but wire the pins differently, so don’t get them confused or you might damage something.
If you want to plug Japanese and European consoles into the same SCART switcher, you need special “JP-21 to Euro SCART” or “Euro SCART to JP-21” cables which swap the pins around so they all match whichever “SCART to XRGB Mini 8-pin” cable you’re using. (Micomsoft sells both “JP-21 to XRGB Mini” and “Euro SCART to XRGB Mini” cables)
