It really helped pioneer the unnatural jerky movements and abstract nightmare imagery that pervaded horror flicks for a good long while in the 00’s-10’s. Pretty funny too.

It’s so creepy and scary to play in the dark. Mike you should try it.

It’s doubly terrifying since you can’t even run, only hide. The spinoff, Joy of Creation lets you run. Also, the Clock Tower games are pretty underappreciated.

But as a caveat, play the PS4 version, as it has an option for you to use the controller mic so that the monster can hear your actual voice while you play; so if you breathe too hard or yell “OH SHIT!” when you see it around the corner, it will hear you and come for you. It’s also a VERY faithful recreation of the original film’s world, right down to the technology, set design, costumes, etc, with a rewarding experience for players who like to explore. Definitely worth a play. 🙂

Its one hell of a creepy game, even if most events are scripted and the story doesn’t make much sense (to me).
Play it until the doctor gets you, that scene will probably freak you guys out 😉

Not a fan of Outlast to be honest, mostly because it’s genuine chills are overshadowed by the endless cheap jump scares (which is the problem with modern horror in general). “Boo! The Videogame” would have been a more fitting title.

The Groom in The Whistleblower probably frightened me the most, but this entire game is full of colourful characters who are out to kill you.
