Period.

Ciao ciao

You’ve helped me develop my own sense of film appreciation that I’ve been slowly developing all my life. And in the process encouraged me to enjoy films I may never have had any connection to/with without this site. And October is just the greatest month/season for film! Now let’s not be brash and stop Monster Madness at 10 years… Keep MM alive! Great list Mike and Bootsy.

I also want to say the scariest movie I’ve ever seen isn’t even a horror movie. It’s Requiem for a Dream.

Those are good lists. I’ve actually never seen Alice Sweet Alice. I should rectify that.
I don’t think I could reduce my list down to just 5. I have so many favorites. If hard pressed, I would say A Nightmare on Elm Street is my favorite horror movie/franchise. Followed very closely by the Evil Dead films.

Even as a kid I thought they were incredibly boring. Same with Godzilla movies….

Totally agree. One of the FEW true horror movies for me. None of those scare jumps that serve no purpose for me…. Also to note, Jacobs Ladder was the main inspiration for the Silent Hill games among others. Everyone should watch that film.
