With how lazy he got by making the most simple program with borrowed sprite assets he did a little too well, he was upset that the game became so popular and took it off the digital stores. His justification was he should not be earning so much money for something so bad.

I was personally upset when I was at E3 around 2013 and met some kid who seemed about as excited to be there as watching paint dry.This guy only got invited to E3 because he made a clone of Flappy Bird.

Well, if you want to get technical Go is not a full fledged Pokemon title. Not even close. It is just as addicting though. As for the reason the dev behind Flappy Bird pulled the game, all I heard was that he felt it defamed him. To give up $50,000 per day though, wanting to avoid lawsuits is a much more believable story.
