Even if I also get reminded of many other games I played as a child I remember they were hard and thus, remember Touhou again.

To Japanese people, english is an exotic language just as japanese is exotic to western people.
You can see a lot of people here with kanji tattoos (even though they don’t know what it means) and you can see a lot of shop signs in english in Japan with messed syntax (they just don’t care, the signs are made to look cool and exotic)

U clearly are experienced gamers, but when something pretty obvious hits u in the face, u are totally oblivious.. Ive seen it so many times and havent played the game myself but it really grinds my swedish gears. Like this one, how come u dont count the damn drops? They obviously pauses at some particular point, thats when u JUMP! 🙂 u rock

The sounds are actully the same sounds from metal gear on NES.
Just listen to when he dies and also the rythm the tones goes with.
The graphic seem to be more castlevania 3 as Smokingspoon says.
But the speed in the game appears to be the same as in Contra, so what we got here seem to be a hybrid of several other games if you want to strech it that far. =)

Ahh. I knew they loved how English’s flexibility made it useful for creating slang and slogans, but I didn’t realize it extended that far.

(Wide selection of synonyms, powerfully flexible grammar rules, and our sloppy spelling rules and imperfect mapping to the Latin alphabet make it easy to create new words or spellings that will remain comprehensible)
