Are there any fans who’ve lived in both deciduous-only (maple, oak, beech, etc.) and coniferous-only (pine, spruce, fir, etc.) forested areas who can give an answer on this?

I’m from a country where Halloween doesn’t really exist, they just have some small, cheap items and that’s it. No trick or treating, barely any costumes, nobody decorates, no horror movies on tv, nothing of it.

But Halloween existed before that, just not the way it does now.

In Brasil we have Carnaval, but is more of an adult thing, too much booze, too much ass, it lost its innocence, and thats always a bad thing. And now with this focking “Carioca funk”, pornography is finding its way to the kids, we see 12 year old girls shaking their non existing asses lake drunk whores, its disgusting. But there also good parties, we just have to use the commom sense. But My favorite party is “Quermesse”, in July when its cold, the Catolic churches make a fanfair in their car lot park, lots of food, mini pizza, hot dog, cotton candy, barbecue, wine, and “Sertanejo” wich is a typical music from São Paulo, its a lot of fun, and no porn. Cheers dudes, happy halloween

Hell, the entire month of October should be a time to throw multiple house parties dressed up in costume.

It’s very much a tribute to 50s monster movies. But it’s quite a mixed bag . I’d love to know your opinion on it. Hope you see this, huge fan.
