Whatabird sometimes you can see what stuff was shot on through IMDb. They don’t often go into detail, and mostly just lists the camera brand and not the model. The IMDb page for the AVGN Movie lists the exact models of the cameras used though.

The current camera that they both use are the Panasonic AG-AF100. It was also used to film the AVGN Movie. I believe they are looking into alternatives though, as they expand their vision and James decides to make more cinematic stuff.

Are there any specific reason why the Higher Quality versions don’t have any copyrighted movie clips and stuff like that, other than the fact that these came from the DVDs? Did you lose the original raw material and so wasn’t able to include those scenes? I mean stuff like the scenes where the Nerd shows us all the TVs playing Rocky movies, or the VHS tape stuff from the DragonStrike episode of Board James?

Are the Monster Madness videos even on Youtube? I always just assumed that they didn’t upload them there either due to copyright concerns or maybe because they just want that to be a cinemassacre.com exclusive.
