The weapon system makes more sense when you play without the code, you have to stay alive and keep upgrading the weapons to have a chance. Just my 2 cents, love this game!

Its on the NES and also made by Konami. This game is Gradius but with co-op. There is also Gradius 3 for the SNES and that one is amazing!
