Chuck Connors is just splendid in it! My only complaint is that the lead actress, Jocelyn Jones, stinks. Tanya Roberts should have been the final girl.

I think the reason it is so obscure is because the MPAA board gave the film a PG rating instead of an R (since the PG-13 rating didn’t exist yet). That was bad news for a horror movie in 1979. Still true today, I feel.
