Walking Dead is a much better movie. Yes Karloff has less to do but that’s not all it has going for it. This film is loaded with atmosphere and has a really interesting idea, God using a scientist to bring justice to a dead man. It’s beautifully acted all around, with Edmund Gwenn and Ricardo Cortez really standing out. The best horror movie WB made in the 30’s I think.
