I’m so glad I never rented this in my NES days but I don’t think any of my stores had this one

Try a game like icaruga and you will see what i mean. For the nes standarts though its pretty messed i believe.

Where on Earth did you guys find that monstrosity? I’ve never played as a giant, disembodied, lava barfing, undead head, and I’m not sure I want to. Thanks for the video.

It was a dismal beginning, but through using the Konami Code and the Co-op feature with the game, along with beating the hardest level first and defeating Macho Man Paul Bunyan, they beat the game. http://www.gamingcx.com/2011/11/gamecenter-cx-episode-67-zombie-nation.html. Kacho on!

Note you need to collect the little guys, not kill them. And also I think that’s what the meter is for in the bottom-right, to indicate how many people you rescued and thus your firepower level.

Also, looking at a FAQ, seems you can actually take unlimited hits if you’re saavy enough to avoid getting hit once the music changes to the “near death” music and then back, which refills your health.

Perhaps just Mike can revisit the game and show us how badass he can be at the game once he better understands the mechanics 🙂
