It’s full of pictures and a little pricey, but so worth it.

I have read a ton of wrestler bios as I used to be very into professional wrestling. They are all pretty similar to Bruce’s in that they start as a regular kid who gets into the business basically by accident and finds success mostly by not giving up when it gets hard. Probably the most fun was the bio of Bobby “The Brain” Heenan because he’s never serious for a minute either. Also if you read all the forewords or “arguments” Stephen King writes in all his books you get a similar bio of the man.

I supposed I don’t read much any more but I watch a ton of DVD extras which give you similar stuff. One of the greats is the “Fight Club” commentary track by Chuck Palahniuk (writer of the novel “Fight Club”) and screenwriter Jim Uhls, I’ve never heard a more positive account of a novel being turned into a movie. I just watched the making of the Mel Gibson movie “Payback” for the director’s cut. Not only was the movie re-edited it was completely recolored and rescored. Interesting process.

I love the Marvel movies for the DVD extras that talk about the source comics. Even the mediocre “Fantastic Four” movie had a great extra about Jack Kirby’s life and work. They also had a lot of good stuff about Kirby on the “Fire and Ice” DVD.

It is by far the best book I have ever read! Funny as hell. Rodney is not serious for a single moment in the book about his life. It made me laugh my ass off the entire time I was reading it. It’s the only book that I would ever read for a second time a round. Make sure and check it out James! You’ll love it! Trust me.

It’s about the Opera House Jackie Chan Samo Hung and Yuen Biao went to. Not the best film, but pretty interesting.
