Whether you’re a Kiss fan or not, it’s still a very good read.

It’s even greater that they’re not in a potato state when they wrote some of those autobiographies. Great review of these books James! Cool to see ‘Queen’ get mentioned so much in the autobiographies and compilation books.

I love music biographies and autobiographies too. There’s a couple books about Keith Moon which are worth checking out too.

If you have any interest (Mine was pure curiosity at first, but now i’m a fan of the genres) in more Extreme Metal, I definitely recommend checking out Choosing Death (Albert Mudrian), Black Metal: Evolution of the Cult (Dayal Patterson), Mean Deviation (Jeff Wagner) and Swedish Death Metal (Daniel Ekeroth). The first two are fantastic and focus on Death Metal/Grindcore and Black Metal respectively. The third one focuses on all the different niches of the Progressive Metal field and is also a great read. The fourth one isn’t so well written, but the vast amount of information the writer provides makes it a great exploration addition. Also, seeing as you seem to enjoy a good amount of older rock and metal, Alice Cooper’s Golf Monster book is also really good. Loved the video and will be picking up the Sound of the Beast book for sure.
