Akklaim released some of the worst garbage to ever grace the 8 and 16 bit eras. Those games are worst than almost every ljn release.

The first TMNT’s jumping mechanics take a while to get used to. Once you get the feel down the jumps are all really easy.

If you stand forward enough that his spawn point is on the screen, but back far enough that he can still walk off of the screen, than it will happen just about every time.

Sad thing is, I know people who can beat the game without attacking anything or using special weapons at all (except on bosses)………in under 20 minutes.

I have a friend that was wrecked by the difficulty of Ninja Gaiden. That was the first game that he had, and when he couldn’t make any headway because it’s so damned hard, he said “to Hell with it.” and never got into video games…

Yeah I would have rather seen that than the Lester the Unlikely one. I played that Lester the Unlikely (on Emulator, mind you) and I did the jump just fine. Of course it could be different on SNES, but still, it can’t be too bad, right?

You just gotta make sure you don’t get the rock too close to the wall. I got it on my first try. Beginner’s luck, I guess, but I didn’t push the rock as far as James did. So yeah that’s how you do it.
