In reply to Chris Alkire. On the "Creating James & Mike Mondays" podcast on Pat the NES Punk's channel, Mike said that Alien Storm was just a game they sat down to play one day, that they also decided to record. After Mike edited the video, they decided to do more of them, and the next one (Super Mario 4 Rambo) was what officially started the series. I also remember on another video on YouTube once (can't remember where), Mike replied to a comment and said that he counted Alien Storm as the pilot for J&MM. So that makes Alien Storm something of an Episode 0 for the series.

On account of the fact that you weren’t even irked, it makes this a filler episode in the AVGN series. However, the episode was wonderful because you decided to take a breather and play a nice game with your friend. Also, this episode–like earlier entries–convinces me to avoid or purchase a game. I’ll do the latter for “Alien Storm”.

it’s kinda wierd when i had a nintendo system and my bff had a sega genises we both go to each other’s houses and play them all time since i was a nintendo fan.
