HAHAHA!!! While Dracula can’t cross running water in the novel, it just seems kind of strange that this is the way they would kill Dracula off until reviving him for the next sequel. You’d think that they’d kill him with a silver weapon of some kind (in traditional folklore, vampires could be killed by silver). That would’ve been better imo.Also, who’s the character that James claims to be Renfield? I’m just a big fan of his character.And as far as the dialogue of Dracula goes for the movie, who do you guys believe? Christopher Lee or Jimmy Sangster, the screenwriter?

I’d like to confirm it to you, that that’s 100% correct. Mr. Lee said it himself on a interview in the Hammer Horror boxset that I’ve got. He talk about his admiration for Bela Lugosi and others who famously wore the cape before him too.
