It’s basically Frankenstein vs Jack the Ripper.

It sounds like absolute schlock, but it’s actually quite well reviewed on Amazon.

It seems like he was just a grave robber who was hanged and then Frankenstein’s old lab became his exiled home where he befriended the monster. It was after Ygor had the monster kill some of the jurors that he was hit by lightning and went into a coma.
