Childhood comics: Miscellaneous weird stuff

James / August 21st, 2011

This first comic here was from about age 15. I was obsessed with reading Michael Crichton novels. In “Eaters of the Dead” there was a passage about mead that caught my attention. It was the first time I ever heard of such a thing, a drink that makes the world spin. So I had to illustrate it.

This next one, I can’t explain. (Age 8-9)

Nor this one, but it clearly seems to be a bug with a beard. (Age unknown)

This was a Christmas comic printed for the school newspaper. (Age 11)

A very bloody comic. (age 14)
