I prefer everything on hard drive personally. MUCH less space, easier to organize.
But then, you don’t get the video store feel (Which I understand, it’s awesome.)

There’s programs like “All My Movies” which can make it like your own personal Netflix, but if you have the space/resources for the “Video Store feel” more power to you. I wish I could.

It’s sad the video store feel will soon be thing of the past (for most people)
