I know is alot late for this, but when i first bought my copy at Blockbuster(i live in Mexico by the way), there was a special pack that included a dvd with the original.

I dont know wa it released recently on store in the US?

I found my copy on DVD at walmart for like 13.00 double disk and everything. so its out there and you can get it just watch walmart when it comes to movies. thing about walmart they will have things ppl want for a few weeks then take them away and few months pass by and it comes back. Just like the orignal V series. got the whole set the miniseries, final V, and the series on dvd for 10 bucks a piece. like i said just check walmart if you cant find what your looking for when it comes to movies.

James here in Spain we have plenty of available copies of the original 82 movie at incredible prices. I know that the DVD is from a different region of USA but I’m sure that you will be able to handle it

I’m actually glad that you brought this up. When I saw the previews for Tron: Legacy, I very was interested in seeing it. I had always heard the original was great, but never really knew anything else about it other than what I heard.

So of course I wanted to see Tron before I went out to see Tron: Legacy. And I couldn’t find it anywhere (short of $100 which is outrageous in my opinion). A friend mentioned that they were probably waiting until the release of the new movie on DVD before they re-released the first on DVD, but by that time I was a little peeved off and started majorly ranting about how incredibly stupid that was.

Today I still have not seen neither Tron nor Tron: Legacy.
