I shouldn’t have been surprised. I’ve watched this two nights in a row since unwrapping it. The opening and closing scenes are some of the creepiest I’ve ever seen. On a side note, anyone who says a movie has ‘bad acting’ (senna) when it doesn’t should be forced to post a video of their own ‘acting ability’, or list 5 films that have supposedly ‘great’ acting. Seriously, how can anyone truly enjoy movies and be so cynical. I was completely immersed during Black Christmas (or as much as I could be while editing photos, part of the reason I watched it again) and I can’t think of a better one to kick off the Halloween film fest.
