I love that scene too! I think Mr Dourif’s performance as a young innocent man is a bit flawed but once the flames start erupting from his body he really shines.

It’s pretty good; Brad Dourif is good and the effects are…passable. But what I love best is the story which feels like a classic 1950s b-movie plot; evil science experiment, tortured innocent caught in it, a rampage, the destruction of the creator all that good stuff. Some of the acting isn’t the best and the fire effects (what we came for) could have been better but this is still worth a watch.

I mean…what a hot head.

The guy *always* gives a really fucking intense performance; he’s amazing in that he has so much passion in his roles. There’s no dialing this guy down, he’s constantly at a “10”, even if you need him at a “2” (at least that’s how he seems to me).

Then he was in Lord of the Rings. He’s also, as BH said, in One Flew Over the Cockoos Nest. He’s a pretty good actor that guy.

And he’s Chucky?!?! You see him as the criminal in the begining lol

He’s had a great career but nothing beats his portayal as Billy B-B-B-Bibbit hahaha.
