Video Equipment I used in 1999

The New AVGN should be going up this week, there will be more Spike videos, etc. But for the moment, I have nothing else to post, so I figured I’d show you this.

I’ve been digging through the Cinemassacre vaults (a walk-in closet full of videotapes, way bigger today than shown in the video) and found a tape from the making of the Head Incident, dated 1999. It shows the simple and outdated technology I used at the time. (I will be posting the actual movie in the near future, in parts, with an introduction.)

I get a lot of questions asking me what kind of equipment I use. Well, if you want to see what I used 10 YEARS AGO, this is it! Today, if I made the same kind of video, I would just say “Here’s my DV camera. Here’s my Mac Pro. End of story.” How the times have changed.
