It is exactly the same as the JCVD, a film about a bunch of bank robbers who hold Jean Claude Van Damme as a hostage and he just plays himself. That was a very funny film too, if you have a dark sense of humor.

I saw it, and I agree, if anybody but Bruce had starred in it, I wouldn’t have sat through it. I guess it was just a fun project for them to do. Almost like a parody. The song they kept repeating stuck in my head for days, and that kinda drove me crazy. It reminded me of those dumbass musicians in “There’s something about Mary”.

I think so many of us are waiting, and hoping for an “Evil Dead 4” that we’ll watch anything with Bruce in it. (Burn Notice is quite good, by the way.) I don’t think we’ll ever get an Evil Dead 4, although my gut tells me, some schlock will remake The Evil Dead at some point, with another actor, and we’ll all just be let down, once again.

Bruce Campbell was there and he did a Q&A, it was pretty sweet. It was kind of a disappointment to see the movie though after meeting Bruce Campbell in the flesh.

I did get a couple laughs so it’s at least worth renting. p.s. Would some one please get Raimi working on E.D.4.
